Who we are
We’re four sisters — all mamas — who have each walked our own unique path through motherhood.
From different birth stories to varied postpartum experiences, we’ve shared the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Through it all, one thing became clear: postpartum support is far too limited and overlooked.
The moment we gave birth, it felt like the focus shifted entirely to the baby. While we were grateful for our little ones, we were left trying to make sense of our own healing — physically, mentally, and emotionally — with little guidance and even less support.
What we’ve learned (and lived) is that postpartum isn’t just about physical recovery. It’s about navigating mental health, shifting identities, relationship changes, body image, work-life balance, and an entirely new lifestyle. We felt the pressure to “bounce back,” to know exactly what we were doing, and to carry it all with a smile — even when everything inside felt different.
At mama flamingo, we’re here to change that. We're on a mission to bring more light, more support, and more honesty to the postpartum journey. Our hope is that one day, postpartum care will be treated with the same importance as prenatal care — because mothers deserve that much.
We're walking this road too, and we’re building mama flamingo as the resource and refuge we wish we had. You’re not alone — and you were never meant to do this without your flock.
With love,
mama flamingo sisters
Meet your flock

Mama to one spirited little girl, with another sweet baby on the way this October. Becoming a mom has been the most transformative journey of my life — beautiful, messy, overwhelming, and deeply grounding all at once.
In the early days of motherhood, I found myself navigating postpartum anxiety and an unexpected shift in identity, especially as I tried to reconcile the demands of my corporate career with the new version of myself that motherhood revealed. It wasn’t always easy, and for a while, I felt lost in the in-between.
One of the ways I found peace again was through running. Long runs became my sanctuary — a place to breathe, think, and slowly stitch myself back together. It's how I reconnect with who I am, outside of motherhood, while still carrying all that it has made me.
You're not alone here. Whether you’re navigating identity shifts, mental health struggles, or simply seeking connection, I see you. I’m so glad you’re here.

Hey there — I’m a mama to one amazing little boy with giggles for days and hair that could rival Elvis, Fabio, or Jason Momoa on his best day. He’s my daily dose of joy, my personal sunrise (literally — he somehow turned this lifelong night owl into a morning person), and the tiny human who made me more.
Motherhood didn’t erase who I was — it expanded me. At my core, I’m still the taco-loving, historical fiction-devouring, product-building adventurer I’ve always been. But now, there’s another layer — one that’s softer, stronger, and endlessly evolving.
My son added something wondrous to my character. He’s everything I am and then some. And even though it’s been less than a year, I’ve already learned more about myself than I ever expected — about patience, identity, joy, and yes, exhaustion too.
How am I more? Honestly, I’m still figuring that out, one messy, magical day at a time. I'm learning to blend my career in B2B product management with motherhood and the essence of who I was before it all began. It’s a beautiful, chaotic fusion — and I’m here for it.
This journey isn’t linear. It’s layered and ever-changing. And I’m so glad to be walking it with you.

Mama to one smiley and spunky little girl, type 1 diabetic, marathoner, and lover of the outdoors.
Postpartum cracked me open in ways I never expected. It wasn’t just about recovering physically - it was about rediscovering who I was. And figuring out who I am now - as a mom, athlete, and human - has been the most life changing experience filled with so much self-growth.
We started Mama Flamingo to create the kind of space we wished we had — a space where moms feel truly seen and supported. Where we don’t gloss over the hard parts, and where we’re allowed to talk about the messy middle: the identity shifts, the emotional ups and downs, the pressure to be everything — and the slow, sacred process of becoming.
If you're somewhere in that in-between — not who you were, not quite sure who you're becoming — you’re not alone. We’re in it with you.

Mama-to-be to one sweet little guy, expected December 2025! I’m married to an active-duty service member, and together we’re learning to navigate life in our new beachside hometown — filled with unpredictable schedules, two energetic Golden pups, and plenty of FaceTime calls to stay close with friends and family back home.
Starting a family has been a long-held dream for us, and —true to military life— it’s all unfolding 2,400 miles from our hometown, in a season that looks very different than we once imagined. Even with all the change, we’re embracing this season of life with gratitude and a deep sense of joy.
I hope to bring perspective to expecting and new moms who are navigating military life or long-distance transitions (because gosh, it’s hard), while also learning from my sisters and fellow mama flamingos as I soon embark on my own baby and postpartum journey.
